SpaceXAI has [released Grok Bot 0.68.1](https://x.com/ericzakariasson/status/2107887770937283028?ref=tao.media), adding slide deck creation, formatted email sending, and a larger cloud-computer workspace for the company’s AI agent product.

Here’s everything you need to know about the update:

## Slide Decks and Colored Chats

Bots can now build slide decks with users, show sample slides to choose from, and deliver the result as a PowerPoint file or Google Slides.

We also see a UI change in messaging. Messages in a one-on-one Bot chat now take on that Bot’s color. The feature can be turned off by setting Accent to Black in Settings.

## Faster Computer Use on a Bigger Screen

Grok Bot agents operate through a cloud computer that can browse the web, fill forms, handle files, and use apps. In version 0.68.1, that environment moves to a 1920 × 1200 screen, up from 1280 × 800\. SpaceXAI says the larger screen gives users more room when they watch a Bot work or take over the session.

The company also says computer use is faster, with actions settling sooner, screenshots returning more quickly, and new windows no longer waiting five seconds before use. The changelog does not give a benchmark or percentage improvement for the speedup.

Several fixes target reliability during the same kind of computer-use work. The Bot’s browser can now recover from a crashed tab, handle large uploads, and give up on a stuck page after 25 seconds. Pressing Stop or sending a new message ends a Bot stuck on an unresponsive step within about 30 seconds. Secure Forms now fill into the page the Bot has open, and checkout card fields get a Secure Form instead of a screen handoff.

## Formatted Emails and Gmail Fixes

Bots can now send formatted emails directly from a draft card, including headings, bold text, and lists. They can also search a user’s Gmail Spam folder and move a message back to the inbox.

The release also addresses Gmail reliability. Send and reply actions no longer report a missing tool, and Bots now wait through Google rate limits instead of failing immediately. Email drafts appear as cards in the chat, a Send cut off by Stop still goes through, and attachments keep their file names.

## Team Bots and Sign-In Fixes

For teams, Team Bots can now mention a Slack user group so its members are notified, though @here and @channel still do not ping anyone. In Slack threads they follow, Team Bots also stay quiet on untagged replies that do not need them, such as emoji-only responses.

Other fixes cover sign-in and recovery flows. When X or Vercel needs a fresh login, the Bot shows a reconnect card. Typing / in the composer also no longer opens a menu of skills and actions.
