[TaoWeave](https://www.taoweave.ai/?ref=tao.media) portfolio company [Manako Labs](https://www.manako.ai/?ref=tao.media) has gone live commercially with Avia Thévenin-Ducrot across 124 unmanned Avia Xpress fuel stations in France, putting Manako's Vision Agents into 24/7 operation across a live retail network.

The rollout gives Bittensor's Score ecosystem a clearer enterprise deployment story. Manako operates Score, also known as Bittensor Subnet 44, and TaoWeave said in a [Business Wire release](https://finance.yahoo.com/technology/ai/articles/taoweave-portfolio-company-manako-labs-123000754.html?ref=tao.media) that Avia Thévenin-Ducrot has named Manako its lead Physical AI design partner.

TaoWeave invested in Manako in June 2026, holds North American commercialization rights to the platform, and participates in revenue from licensing agreements it originates. The company did not disclose contract value or revenue figures for the Avia deployment.

## Vision Agents Move Into Fuel-Retail Operations

Manako's system turns existing camera networks into operational monitoring infrastructure. At Avia Xpress stations, the company said its Vision Agents use cameras already installed on site to detect payment terminal failures, pump and equipment damage, and camera outages, then route each issue to the appropriate person.

That makes the deployment less about adding new surveillance hardware and more about converting existing video feeds into a workflow layer. Manako said the rollout is plug-and-play, takes about five minutes per station, requires no new cameras, and processes video locally so raw footage does not leave the station.

In fuel retail, unmanned locations need fast issue detection but also face privacy, security, and operational constraints. A payment terminal failure can directly interrupt sales, a damaged pump can create safety or service problems, and a camera outage can weaken the visibility that unmanned sites depend on. The pitch for Vision Agents is that those incidents can be detected and escalated without requiring staff to watch camera feeds manually.

"Avia Thévenin-Ducrot is now our lead Physical AI design partner," Max Sebti, CEO and co-founder of Manako Labs, said in the company's [Oct. 6 announcement](https://www.manako.ai/blog/bringing-physical-ai-to-fuel-retail-with-avia-thevenin-ducrot?ref=tao.media). "Each of its sites combines retail, EV charging, fuel, security and unmanned operations, which makes the network the ideal place to show what physical operations at machine speed look like."

Avia Thévenin-Ducrot is a French fuel retailer with 494 Avia service stations, 46 motorway stations, 50 sales branches, and 420 employees, according to Manako. TaoWeave's release placed the customer inside Avia's broader French network of about 770 stations and AVIA International's more than 3,000 stations across 15 European countries.

## Score and Bittensor Subnet 44

Manako's enterprise product connects to Score through Bittensor Subnet 44\. TaoWeave said in its [June investment announcement](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20260531906826/en/TaoWeave-Expands-Into-Physical-AI-With-Investment-in-Manako-Labs-and-North-American-Commercialization-Rights?ref=tao.media) that Manako operates Score, Subnet 44, within the Bittensor network. Bittensor's own subnet directory describes [Score (SN44)](https://bittensor.ai/subnets/44?ref=tao.media) as a soccer video analysis subnet focused on distributed validation and computer vision.

That public subnet description is narrower than the Avia deployment, which centers on commercial site operations rather than sports footage. The bridge between the two is computer vision. Score has been building around vision model development and evaluation, while Manako is packaging camera-based perception into enterprise workflows.

Intelligence previously covered [Score Studio's launch as a builder platform for Bittensor SN44 vision models](https://www.tao.media/score-studio-goes-live-as-builder-platform-for-bittensor-sn44-vision-models/), describing Score Studio as the public builder path for creating and deploying computer-vision systems tied to Subnet 44\. The Avia go-live now shows the enterprise side of the same broader vision stack: not just benchmark tasks or developer tooling, but a named customer network using the technology in daily operations.

The deployment does not mean Avia stations are running Bittensor infrastructure directly, and TaoWeave's current release does not describe the customer rollout as being operated onchain. Instead, the Bittensor relevance comes through Manako's role as the operator of Score and through Manako's place in TaoWeave's broader Bittensor-linked AI commercialization strategy.

TaoWeave entered the relationship with a USD 1 million investment in Manako and a preferred North American commercialization partnership. The company said the agreement gives it exposure to licensing revenue it originates, while also providing a path to develop AI infrastructure within the broader Bittensor ecosystem.

## TaoWeave's Commercialization Bet Gets a Customer Signal

The Avia deployment is also a marker for TaoWeave. The Nasdaq-listed company began as a Bittensor-focused digital asset treasury strategy before expanding toward operating partnerships and AI commercialization. Manako was its first operating platform investment.

In the Oct. 7 release, TaoWeave CEO Pete Holst said Avia "shows Physical AI delivering real results across a live enterprise network," adding that fuel retail is one of several possible markets where businesses need to understand what is happening on site and act in real time.

The statement reflects TaoWeave's broader thesis, but the more concrete development is the customer rollout itself. Avia Thévenin-Ducrot is a named European operator, the first wave covers 124 unmanned stations, and the deployment is live rather than framed only as a pilot or future plan.

At the same time, investors should separate deployment scope from financial disclosure. TaoWeave has not provided revenue, margin, contract duration, or expansion terms for the Avia relationship. Its filings and releases also continue to flag digital-asset exposure, including concentration in TAO tokens, as a risk factor.

For Score and the wider Bittensor ecosystem, a subnet operator's physical AI product is now running at commercial scale across a named fuel-retail customer, while a public company with Bittensor exposure holds commercialization rights for North America. That gives SN44 a more visible enterprise reference point as Score continues to move from computer-vision benchmarks and builder tools toward real-world deployments.
