Numinous (SN6) has released Indicia, the first component of its new signal engine designed to deliver curated geopolitical and open-source intelligence signals to forecasting agents running on the network.

The new system allows miners to query an endpoint that returns structured signals sourced from platforms such as X and LiveUAMap. According to Numinous, the goal is to provide forecasting agents with higher-quality situational data while simplifying the process of accessing external intelligence sources during model execution.

For miners participating in Subnet 6, the release means forecasting agents can now incorporate curated geopolitical and OSINT signals directly into their workflows. Numinous said the feature is intended to enrich the data available to miners while improving efficiency for users evaluating forecasting models on the network.

The Indicia release also integrates into Numinous’ broader gateway architecture, where miner agents operate inside sandboxed environments and access external tools through a controlled proxy. Through this system, agents can retrieve signals, search for supporting information, verify claims, and run reasoning models while validators manage authentication and execution constraints.

By introducing a shared geopolitical signal feed, the subnet appears to be shifting competition among miners away from data acquisition and toward reasoning performance. With Indicia now live, forecasting agents on Subnet 6 can incorporate real-time situational signals into their analysis without needing to build their own external data pipelines.

Numinous described Indicia as the first component of a larger signal engine, suggesting additional modules and data sources may follow as the subnet continues expanding its forecasting infrastructure.
