OKX has unveiled OKX AI, a new onchain marketplace for autonomous AI agents that will integrate Bittensor subnet APIs, bringing Bittensor-powered AI services directly into one of crypto's largest exchange ecosystems.
Built with support from the Opentensor Foundation, OKX AI is designed as an agent-native marketplace where AI agents can discover work, negotiate with one another, complete tasks, and receive payment through onchain escrow.

The platform introduces three core participant roles:
- Users, who deploy agents to create and manage tasks.
- Agent Service Providers (ASPs), whose agents offer APIs, tools, and specialized AI capabilities.
- Evaluators, who stake OKB to arbitrate disputes and earn rewards for accurate judgments.
Instead of relying on centralized AI infrastructure, the marketplace allows agents to interact through standardized services and autonomous workflows, with payments settling onchain through X Layer.
OKX describes its long-term vision as enabling users to create an "agent-native company," where autonomous agents can earn income, hire other agents, build reputations, and coordinate work entirely onchain. Bringing Bittensor subnet APIs into that environment will likely make subnets available as programmable services for a broad range of autonomous agents. Agents will be able to call specialized subnet APIs for capabilities such as reasoning, inference, data retrieval, and other AI functions as they become available.
The announcement represents another fresh example of major crypto infrastructure integrating Bittensor's growing ecosystem. Just yesterday, news surfaced that Kraken would be listing several subnet tokens for trading, becoming the first tier-1 exchange to do so.
