Bittensor's TAO extended its recent rally today, touching a fresh three-month high as traders continued to react to the token's growing presence on Solana and a new wave of TAO-paired memecoin activity.
The move followed renewed attention around TAO's availability on Solana through Raydium and other DeFi venues, where the asset is now easier for Solana-native traders to access without relying only on centralized exchanges or Bittensor's native network.
At time of writing, TAO is trading around $270, up roughly 14% over 24 hours and nearly 20% over seven days. We're seeing a 24-hour range of about $234 to $277, with Bittensor's market capitalization near $2.6 billion and daily trading volume above $450 million.
The rally has pushed TAO back toward a price level traders watch closely. $300 level is the next major upside target, while the broader $300 to $350 zone remains a potential resistance area after the token's sharp rebound.

Solana Liquidity Adds A New TAO Trading Layer
TAO's latest price action is tied to a broader liquidity story that began earlier this year, when Wormhole Labs' Sunrise platform brought a canonical version of TAO to Solana. That launch made TAO tradable across Solana's DeFi stack through venues and wallets including Jupiter, Meteora, Phantom and Solflare, while positioning the token as a native Solana DeFi asset instead of a fragmented wrapped representation.

The current rally suggests that market participants are beginning to price in that expanded distribution layer, given the TAO demand generated by the asset's newfound memecoin pairings.
StonkFun Turns TAO Into A Memecoin Quote Asset
The newest source of attention is StonkFun, a Solana launchpad that recently added support for tokens paired directly with TAO. Instead of launching against SOL or USDC, projects can now create markets where TAO is the paired asset.
Early examples include Buttensor, or BUTT, a Bittensor-themed memecoin that quickly became a focal point for traders following the new format. Users need TAO to participate in TAO-paired markets, liquidity providers need TAO inventory, and certain token configurations route fees into purchases of TAO that are distributed back to holders.
That creates a feedback loop in which memecoin volume can generate incremental TAO demand, while TAO exposure itself becomes part of the memecoin's appeal.

Buttensor has already generated millions of dollars in volume within its first day, showing that the model can attract attention quickly.
However, as noted in our original story coverage, it's important to proceed with utmost caution here. Yes, TAO is now appearing in novel market structures, and this new attention funnel could reduce friction for new participants, improve market depth, and make TAO visible to traders who may not yet understand Bittensor, but these market structures are highly experimental, only recently becoming popular on Robinhood Chain.
They've certainly attracted a swarm of short-term speculators; in situations like this, oftentimes excited believers are left holding the bag after traders exit.
Don't let that be you.
