RedTeam has published new benchmark results, showing that its decentralized detection system has steadily improved over the past eleven months while traditional bot detection providers became significantly less effective against evolving attacks.
The company said it tested every major bot detection vendor each month using a continuously expanding dataset of real-world attack techniques. Those attacks were sourced from two places: miners competing in RedTeam's humanize_behaviour challenges on Bittensor, and attacks developed internally by RedTeam's research team.
According to the published results, the average true detection rate across competing vendors declined from 59% in April 2025 to 14.6% by February 2026. During the same period, RedTeam says its own detection rate increased from 74.3% to 99.5%.

The benchmark graphic also compares several established providers, with RedTeam reporting the following February 2026 detection rates:
- Innerworks: 99.5%
- Kasada: 38.0%
- FingerprintJS: 31.3%
- Cloudflare: 17.6%
- DataDome: 8.4%
- Akamai: 6.4%
- Arkose Labs: 5.7%
- HUMAN: 4.8%
- reCAPTCHA: 4.2%
RedTeam attributes the divergence to the way its decentralized network continuously learns from new attack techniques. The attacks used during benchmarking are the same methods it encounters when customers migrate from competing security providers.
"Our miners aggregate methods used by the most dangerous fraud operations on the internet and continuously sharpen them with techniques of their own."
The company explained that every successful attack is immediately reverse engineered and incorporated back into the system, allowing its detection models to continually improve.

The announcement also teased RedTeam's next major release: an "immune system" paired with a new bot virus challenge. The system is being designed to continuously generate, analyze, and neutralize emerging attack techniques before they become widespread.
"It's exactly what the name suggests, an evolving system that keeps improving while the market around it degrades, and one built to generate and neutralise attacks that don't yet exist anywhere in the wild."
RedTeam says this adaptive architecture will become increasingly important as AI-generated automation continues to accelerate, and believes continuously evolving defenses will ultimately be "the only defense structure that survives."
