Grok Bot can now be assigned to the iPhone's Action Button, letting users start talking with the AI agent service through an easy-to-access physical button instead of navigating to the app.
The official Grok Bot account announced the option with a short video, inviting users to set the button to talk with Bot. Voice access offers an alternative to typing out instructions on a phone, which suits a service built around handing work to agents.
Apple's Action Button can be assigned to different functions, including running a shortcut. Its Shortcuts guide explains the general configuration path: open Settings, select Action Button, swipe to Shortcut, and tap Choose a Shortcut to select an available action.
Assigning the button to Bot uses the control that would otherwise perform another selected function, such as toggling Silent mode.
The feature requires an iPhone equipped with an Action Button.
