SpaceX Super Intelligence has introduced The X Subscription, a unified plan that bundles Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium into one account system with a shared AI usage pool across products.
The move takes care of a big ask from the community, pulling together several of the highest-frequency AI and social products in Elon Musk's ecosystem: a chatbot, an agent product, an AI coding environment, API access and premium social-network features.
Five Tiers, One AI Usage Pool
The X Subscription launches with five monthly tiers, ranging from Free to Ultra. The core change is the shared pool that sits underneath the pricing structure.
The official tiers are:
| Plan | Monthly Price | Included Usage and Features |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Limited chat and agent requests, plus basic X actions such as posting, replying and following. |
| Plus | $8 | Shared AI usage across products, Grok Chat, Voice, Imagine and Build, Grok API access, Cursor and X Premium features such as a checkmark, fewer ads, creator tools and analytics. |
| Premium | $30 | Four times Plus usage, Grok Bot, latest Grok models, faster chat, image and video generation, code hosting through Origin, AI code reviews through Bugbot, cloud agents, automations and mostly ad-free scrolling. |
| Super | $100 | Fifteen times Plus usage and priority model access during peak times. |
| Ultra | $200 | 50 times Plus usage. |
Usage refreshes weekly. SpaceXSI said that structure is meant to prevent one heavy day from consuming an entire month's allocation, while still giving users a single meter across products. Top-ups are available when the shared pool runs out.

What The X Subscription Includes
The bundle covers a wide set of consumer and developer tools.
For general AI users, The X Subscription includes Grok Chat, voice interaction, image generation through Imagine, Build features and access to the latest Grok models on higher tiers. For agent users, it includes Grok Bot, cloud agents and automations beginning at the Premium tier.

For developers, the most important inclusion is Cursor. The plan brings SpaceXSI's AI coding environment into the same subscription system as Grok, giving users one usage pool for chat, coding agents, agent workflows and API activity. Premium also adds code hosting through Origin and AI code reviews through Bugbot.
For X users, the bundle includes Premium features such as a verification checkmark, reduced ads, enhanced creator tools, advanced analytics, higher reply boost and mostly ad-free scrolling on higher tiers.

Cursor's Third-Party Models Are Separate
The shared usage pool applies to SpaceXSI's own models and products. Third-party models inside Cursor are not included in the monthly allowance, according to the pricing material. Those models remain available at API list prices and are billed separately, with optional spending caps.
Developers who use Cursor primarily with outside models from other labs feel this split most. The bundle may be more valuable for users willing to route more coding work through Grok models, while developers who rely heavily on third-party model access will still need to account for separate API costs.
SpaceXSI said each tier provides more "usage-per-dollar" of its own models than the comparable plan it replaces, but it did not publish a direct comparison against earlier Grok, Cursor or X Premium subscriptions.
Existing Subscribers Can Keep Their Plans For Now
The rollout is gradual. SpaceXSI said users should check billing settings for availability and limited-time offers, and that current subscribers "can keep their plan or switch to The X Subscription, and link their Grok, Cursor, and X accounts." Subscribers who already pay for more than one product, such as X Premium and Cursor Pro, can link their accounts at cursor.com/unify, according to Matt Palmer (@mattyp).
The company has not said whether legacy Grok, Cursor or X Premium plans will eventually be retired. It also has not fully detailed how existing Cursor Pro or Business subscribers map into the new system.
Team and Enterprise options are referenced on the pricing page, with pooled usage, single sign-on, SCIM support, invoicing and audit logs. Those plans are handled through sales, and public team pricing was not shown in the reviewed material.
The company also says subscriptions are sold only through X Subscription Corp. and that unauthorized reseller subscriptions may be suspended.
